We only have a few things in the house that currently need repair, however we can list these and they will take care if this for us asap. All in all as far as building a house goes, it was a good experience and we would highly recommend others building with Orion Homes. However, If we were to say that we never had any hiccups then my review wouldn't be true.
I raised a few issues post settlement and they were well attended. When we then started construction Jason was our construction manager. He kept us informed however at times due to workload we would need to follow up ourselves directly but he was always informative and like an open book. Would recommend them to anyone, who wants a smooth build, with a consultative progressive company to deal with, you will be very happy, as l am.

Dominic was very patient and allowed us to change the floor plan to suit our needs due to being a custom build. He was so informative, had all the time in the world for us and explained every detail. He offered great standard inclusions and promotions which made our home like “Hollywood”. Orion homes standard inclusions are so extensive With Orion, we didn't have to upgrade much to get a beautiful home, so our variations were quite minimum . Let me first tell you that we came across Dominic at the sales office of Orion in our search for a good custom builder. As we entered the sales office we knew we will be dealing with people of integrity.
My ceiling leaks water all the time through the downlights every time it rains.rendering is cracking in many places outside walls.loose pipes in ceiling making loud banging noise all night and day when its windy. Downpipes falling away from walls .dirty boot marks left on staircase and polish was put straight over it .There's no quality at all in anything the builder does. Orion was bursting at the seams when the opportunity to expand its office footprint came in the form of West 200. This project was designed and delivered in line with base building occupancy.

Dominic was so patient after the many alterations we had due to being a custom build. He was so informative, had all the time in the world for us and never once pressured us like the other builders tried to do into putting down any form of deposit until we were ready. Once we had gone through drawings we went on to contracts which was a smooth process before going on to our colour selection. After house been handed over, any maintenance issue forwarded to the company took very long time to process, and need to chase up every single time. Quality of the house is just okay, but the after-sale service was just bad, no respose, hard to contact person in charge of maintenance.
We built through Covid and Jason still managed to get us into our brand new home BEFORE the expected build time in our contract. Jason went above and beyond and even made our 2 children feel apart of our build. We asked Jason if there was any chance of us moving in before Christmas, he advised he would do his best we knew this was a big ask. We felt Orion Homes from start to finish made us feel valued and like family.

The build was started in August 2017 and finished in March 2018, . We built with Orion Homes and moved in November 2016. We had great service from the very start till the very end, working in the business myself I sort of know what to expect. Thanks Bing and Domenic for assisting me from sales to settlement.

Me and my family are very thankful to Noel, Jan, Domenic, Jason, Michelle, Kylie, Christine, Monik including all the sales, administration and construction team in providing us with our new first dream home. With the assistance of the Orion Homes design team including Wendy and drafting services we formulated a design meeting all of our requirements, wish list within our budget parameters.
